FACILITATOR: Dora Nemes
DATE: Monday May 4, 2026
HOURS: 12:30-2 PM
PRICE: 25 EUR
WORKSHOP: THE ART OF TRUE RELAXATION
Beyond Rest — Into Deep Yogic Ease
Join us for a gentle yet insightful workshop exploring true relaxation as a foundational yogic skill—not just lying down, but a conscious, transformative state that prepares the body, breath, and mind for deeper inner practice.
Together, we’ll create a calm and attentive space to unpack what relaxation really is, why it matters so profoundly in yoga, and how it bridges the outer practices of asana and pranayama with meditation and contemplation. Rooted in the Himalayan Yoga Tradition (Swami Rama lineage), this 1.5-hour session blends theory, lived experience, and practical guidance.
This workshop invites you to explore:
• What relaxation truly is—and how it differs from rest, meditation, and contemplation
• Why relaxation is the essential bridge between physical practices and inner awareness
• The five classical relaxation techniques of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition
• How relaxation supports effective stress management and nervous system regulation
• A clearer, more grounded understanding of Śavāsana and how to guide it skillfully
No previous experience is necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
You’ll leave with greater clarity, embodied understanding, and the confidence to teach relaxation as a core yogic practice—supporting students on the path toward deeper practices such as Yoga Nidra.
